Balance A123 ?
The A123 Power Tube packs cannot be balanced during charging, as there are no tap wires. Can these packs be kept balanced by occasional trickle charging, as with NiMh? This is my guess, since the A123 can tolerate some charge input after full charge.

You really don't need to balance the a123 cells.

Re: Balance A123 ?
The a123 celles MUST be balanced once upon a time.
I do it at night after a flight session.
To get a balancing tap, just insert a wire between the cell and the retract tube...
I did it for all my packs.
